The reanimated remains of unfortunate miners that can be encountered in From Software's 2001 King's Field: The Ancient City (King's Field IV) Sony Playstation 2 roleplaying video game. Many sought out the mysterious minerals known as the Rocks of Life (stones that have the power to cure any disease or wound) in the Cursed Land's mine, and many lost their lives in the attempt--the truly unlucky joined the ranks of the undead. Zombie Miners are doomed to forever roam through the shafts and tunnels of the cursed quarry that claimed their lives. While they shamble about slowly, do not underestimate their reflexes, for they can swing their pickaxes, which have a very long reach, with astonishing speed. These monsters also frequently vomit up puddles of toxic green bile. Anyone who walks through this noxious fluid will suffer damage and become poisoned. Being undead, a Zombie Miner can pass through its own regurgitations without suffering any ill effects. Materials: Newsprint, white glue, wire twist ties, dog hair (the animal was not harmed in acquiring it), acrylic paint, and plastic (transparent base only). Dimensions: 4.0 cm/1.6 in. x 4.1 cm/1.6 in. (widest point x highest point) Time: One day: July 1st, 2012. ![]() |
