Many fans were at least a little disappointed when Catwoman's appearance in the upcoming (LESS THAN A WEEK!!!!) film "The Dark Knight Rises" was revealed. While there's nothing wrong with a plain, functional catsuit, it's just a plain catsuit, in comparison to the high-tech, inventive look of the Batsuit and the interesting design of the Joker's costume. So here's what I would rather the outfit look like. I was quite happy to come across a Matrix Trinity action figure and immediately saw Catwoman potential. I sanded the hair down a little, sculpted a cowl over it and sculpted the arm-length gloves as well. I then used a piece of cloth to imprint some texture. The zipper down the front is a twisty tie, and I painted the cowl and gloves black. Not too complicated, but I think it looks alright.

A simple but neat conversion. A few more details and you could get Injustice Catwoman!

Thanks Al - Injustice Catwoman is actually a fair bit more complicated, lots of little armour bits and stuff, but I see what you mean.

looks much better as Catwoman than it did Trinity! Great job transforming that!

Thanks! I saw more Catwoman than anything else in the base figure too, and it helped that it wasn't a super-difficult conversion.

Thank you! Yes, I'm quite happy that these fit in perfectly with the Movie Masters figures. Many figures based on films are either too big at 7 inch scale or too small at 5 inch scale. These Matrix figures were exactly the right size.

although I personally love catwomans costume
it mixes classic first apearance and 60's purpleness with modern tech perfectly
do wish she had a cowl though

Thanks Chester. I agree that the costume is a good mix of throwback and modern but, like you, it was missing a cowl and that's the major difference here. I left the top of the arms bare to make it a little more interesting visually than a full catsuit.
