ARES:
is the son of Zeus and is the Olympian God of War. Ares reveled in war and combat in all its forms, not caring about sides or victims, supporting Troy in the Trojan war. Ares has hated Hercules ever since Hercules killed Ares' pets, the monstrous Stymphalian birds,[4] and his hatred increased when he noticed Hercules being favored by their father, while he was shunned for his brutal behavior. Further adding to his hatred, is that in modern times, war is shunned and disliked, whereas Hercules is still beloved by the masses, despite his own history of death and destruction.[5] As the Romans took on worship of Greek gods and renamed them, Ares is also the deity Mars.

ABOUT THE CUSTOM FIGURE:
A friend gave me two Broken Anime Action Figures and from they way it looks, its more like to become ARES to me..so I decided to Merged some parts stripped some armores, Sanded and Repainted and Sculpted some Body Parts.I also chose the ARES version which he shows more flesh and I love doing the Flesh Tone Painting.

Initially his head was too small for his head So I tried several head to fit and the perfect Head is From Leonidas of 300. Re sculpted some parts and Re painted. Although I have cut a portion of his chin But I retained the a little of the bearded look a bit. Because I knew Mr. Ares at some point do not have time to shave and busy fighting..Helmet's is from Planet Hulk and its mowhawk was sculpted from Epoxy Clay then painted. Accessories & weapons where from other AF Characters.
