After watching the DC UNIVERSE ONLINE TRAILER I got the idea of a Superman repaint. Mine is loosely based on the self-imposed exiled Superman. I went with darker shading of course, maybe a little overboard for some, but I like putting my own artistic interpretation on things instead of a direct mimic(which I wouldn't be able to do anyways). I like how it turned out even with the dark tones. I first had to repair the right leg as it was broke at the knee peg. That was easy with a dow rod replacement. I filled in all the peg holes and sanded it smooth, I had to trim off some of Poison Ivy's vines, primed and painted, sealed in Testor's dullcote
This has to be one of the most Bada$$ Supermans I've ever seen! He looks so dam intimidating that you wouldn't want to look him in the eye! So sayeth the Real Supamn! Just Awesome,,,,,,,,,had to throw one final comment in there,
I certainly wouldn't want to mess with this guy! Truth, justice, the American way, and a severe smackdown. Very cool work, it's extremely stylish and really brings out the aggression in this version of the character without going overboard.
So nice! The contrast between the paint colors and the super heavy shading make him look metallic. I loved that trailer, I still have parts lying around to makey Lex Luthor.
