This variation of Captain America appeared in New Warriors #11 in an alternate reality, where he led an African version of the Avengers. I always liked the character, and many years later after reading it as a kid, I decided to bring him into figure form. He's a repaint of a Captain America figure from the movie line (International Heroes 3 pack), with custom sculpting on the chest, and shield, with additional modding on his boots.
Great rendition of Captain Assyrian- as stated before , from New Warriors storyline where female Sphinx alters reality to a What If type universe where heroes are descendants of Egyptian heritage. Again great job...
I remeber this story, I used to love the new warriors and the lady sphinx storyline was a personal favorite. nice job on cap, it makes me think of the scene in the comic where all the heroes are coming at sphinx and they are all slightly different from normal 616 versions. ahh, nostalgia
