Like several of Hasbro's earlier Marvel Legends I was pretty disappointed with Adam Warlock. Adam ended up being a pretty simple custom, but still fun to make. He is mostly a DCUC body some simple parts swapping and a little paint, but I think he turned out pretty good. Plus he goes well with my Silver Surfer.
Recipe: Marvel Legends Adam Warlock head, hands, cape, and staff. I had to drilled the head to fit the DCUC neck peg. I used Power Ring's upper torso, lower torso, right forearm, and shins. Johnny Quick biceps, upper legs, and Superman feet were used to try to cut down on paint rub. Then I used Dr. Midnight left forearm for the Infinity Gauntlet arm.
Love your customs and this is a MASSIVE improvement on the crappy Hasbro Warlock. I always felt that figure was too scrawny and hated the complexion of his face. Really like the idea of using the DCU bases for the Marvel cosmic repertoire--my Gamora figure wants to seduce him!
Thank you I don't know what Hasbro was thinking with his complexion Adam is suppose to be orange. Your Gamora looks really nice. I was going to be making more Marvel cosmic characters, but I'm going to take a break from Marvel characters since it seems Hasbro may be giving the cosmics some love. I'll finish the ones I have mocked-up, and I'm going to move my focus to the Ultraverse
