I picked up a Batman Movie Masters figure from the Dark Knight Rises figure line today. I was impressed by the sculpt, but once again the paint application was pretty weird. How can you mess up Batman?? He's all black! hahaha. Anyway, I just felt he was way too plastic-y. He was too shiny, and he had gloss on his boots and gloves/gauntlets. So I decided to repaint him, with movie accurate colors. First I needed to fixed his mouth. WAY TOO shiny and monotone.. So I gave him multiple skin tones, wasn't easy in such a small area lol. Then I painted the cowl and the suit all black. I went back to do the grays in the areas where they were needed. I didn't repaint the belt or the cape, I thought those were fine. I've seen some awesome capes done on here, but I didn't attempt, maybe later. Also please check out my other TDKR repaint of BANE! Thanks for checking this out, and feel free to check out my other custom figures! ![]() |
