I thought it would be a lot of fun to make something for this competition, and have seen several pieces of fanart of Harley in a swimsuit or bikini and thought she seemed like a great candidate for this one. The whole figure is a standard DCUC Harley Quinn, with the frilly neck piece cut off. I did a little sanding over the body, used some twisty ties to create the bikini top and bottom pieces, and painted it up. I've always been unable to get a nice, smooth-looking skin tone, so this was a great challenge. The head was also difficult to get right, to paint over the white and paint the lips and teeth. I took the photos by the pool for added effect. Wish me the best, and hope you like this one!
Thanks man, I appreciate the comment. I had a look at your customs and would like to encourage you to keep at it! I'd choose a different sculpting medium, and also try to work with figures that don't rely so heavily on sculpting. Sculpting isn't easy and I started out using the wrong medium for a very long time; I think using something like proper epoxy putty from a brand like Aves or even sculpy or green stuff would be much better than the sculpting clay you are using now. Be very patient and I was given this piece of advice: the smaller the better, as in the smaller and more detailed you can sculpt or mould something, the less awkward on a figure you will look. Keep at it, and thank you for your comments!
Thank you everyone for the lovely comments, I'm heartened that this contest entry fared quite a bit better than my previous, dismally awful one, and am very grateful to everyone who voted! Cheers, and enjoy what's left of the Summer!

Smooth even skintones are a challenge for all of us. It takes a lot of thinned-down coats, built up gradually, which is a ton of work and patience. This is a great piece though and came out nice.
