CUSTOM Marvel Legends DC Universe Movie Masters Style BANE MERCENARY LEAGUE of SHADOWS:
He measures approximately 6 to 6.5 inches tall 1:12th SCALE

We wanted a Bane that showed more muscular brawn, and that would still be in scale with Batman Movie Masters Dark Knight Rises figures which are barely 6 inches.

We made this figure to be about 6.25 inches which scales perfectly with Batman. He is fully poseable with about 32 to 36 points of articulation.

Additionally we wanted the former League of Shadows Merc to be able to hold weapons which the current movie masters version lacks. Also liked his beginning plane sequence t-shirt look as well so we went with this look which is a blend between the t-shirt and vest look with the straps.
Hope you like.
Please also see all of our STAR WARS 6 inch 1:12th Scale customs coming out this week. We made about 30 of them so far.

Nice work! I made one last week with a similar style, the head really works well with the Duke Nukem. You have more mods on yours.

We dremel chopped more off the waist and resculpted the button waist joint and dremeled the inner stomach to control waist movement. The problem with using that base is that he will clock in at 7 inches which is way to tall and a lot of these customizers photos are not showing that he is out of scale from the Dark Knight. We shave of approximately .75 inches in different areas to make it work.

I agree D&D. Nukem is too tall for movie masters. Not good for a movie accurate unless Bane was played by a 7 foot tall actor. I've liked many of your past customs and this one is very detailed.

I want to make another slightly larger scale version of Catwoman. I guess I will tackle that project in Sept after Star wars is done.

Looks like you took the bottom half of the movie masters Bane and added the Duke Nukem upper body from the idea fellow realmer "Banner" used on his movie Bane custom (which he did a great job on). It's a nice idea but the bottom half and the upper half are slightly out of proportion in my view. Nice job just the same, it's certainly closer to a movie accurate custom.

The problem with using that base is that he will clock in at 7 inches which is way to tall and a lot of these customizers photos are not showing that he is out of scale from the Dark Knight so we do not think that is good. We shaved off approximately .75 inches in different areas to make it work. We will add some pics with the Dark Knight to show that he actually is a perfect height to fight BATMAN. Duke base is just tooooo tall.

If you look at the photo you are refering to Bane in that other customizer's pic is like having a 8 inch doll fight a 5 inch figure. The scale does not work. He needs to be chopped/dremeled and modified which is what we have done.

Absolutely D&D you're right..the Duke Nukem figure without your mods is too tall for the Movie Masters figures and your goal was to have a figure that's in scale to those figures. You do quality work and it's an inspiration to other customizers here. You did inspire me with a detail for my version of the same custom...you used the belt from the Movie Masters Bane and I have added it to my version as well. I just removed the pouches and belt buckle from Duke Nukem..used a hair dryer to soften the hollowed out Movie Masters Bane belt and slid it right on..it looks great and takes it further away from Duke Nukem. I kept the entire Duke Nukem base figure though because I want it more in scale with my Arkham City figures (which is not the same goal as your figure). I've also gone with Grayson Hunt/Bulletstorm hands for my version, which look ideal from point of view. I've used both hands even though Bane in the film only has one gloved hand (a la Michael Jackson)...although the comic book version of Bane does have both hands gloved.
Anyway the quality of your work speaks for itself, it's an inspiration. Nice job.

I agree the taller base would work well with the ASYLUM SERIES.

very good I like it
but your definetally gonna haveto keep those legs apart to give he right look otherwise he'd look a bit top heavy lol

I noticed in the movie that he was a bit top heavy and even in the movie masters edition that seems to be the case. I wanted his upper body to strike fear in the Dark Knight.

Very cool looking Movie Bane, if he looked like this in movie I would almost be able to forgive the Sean Connery voice over.

lol..finally someone else agrees with me that Tom Hardy sounded like Sean Connery. I still liked his portrayal but it did sound like Sean Connery. Hardy insists he based his voice on an old bare knuckles fighter who was also a gypsy...the name eludes me right now I'll try to look it up.

D&D..the bare knuckle fighter's name was Bartley Gorman. He was an Irish Gypsy..hence the gaelic inflection to the accent although Tom Hardy insists it's "Romani". I loved it either way..he sounded great as Bane and sold the character through a face mask...not an easy feat by any means.

I thought Bane was a great villain in the movie and I like the retake on his face more than the classic bane face look.

I did like the design of his mask, it was a cross between an attack's dog muzzle and a venemous spider and looked very threatening indeed. I just liked how your custom bulked him up a bit, and made him more physically imposing than he already was in the film.

I think you covered all the bases with the MATRIX series. I'm not to familiar with Metal Gear at all(I know Solid Snake and Raiden), GI JOE... I'd like to see a 1:12th Scale Zartan(I planned to make one, but just have't got around to it and don't know when I will) THANKS!!!
