Bio:

It had been years since Link had last seen Hyrule, and after the years at sea he had no other want but to return home to his Uncle, and maybe find some semblance of the normal life he’d had since first rescuing the Princess, now Queen Zelda. After the death of the King, Zelda took the mantle of queen, marrying a young lord from a neighboring country, producing an heir, a boy who was called Link after the hero who had saved Hyrule.
His namesake, the hero Link, should’ve known he was not meant for peace. After an eerie fog had began pouring from the Lost Woods, where the Master Sword remained, the young Prince Link snuck from his home and went to find the reason, thinking that he was going to be the next Hero. When he didn’t return, Queen Zelda contacted Link asking him to find her son, due to his familiarity with the Lost Woods. Link obliged, making his way to the resting place of the Master Sword, where he found young Prince Link, not alone. A shadowy figure lurked, having cornered the young prince, drawing his bow, Link readied an arrow before the shadowy figure looked his way, a dark figure, virtually identical to the hero, caused Link to pause. The shadow smiled, his red eyes glowing as he grabbed the young prince and made his way towards the Master Sword.
Shadow Link: “Follow me if you dare…”
Reaching for the sword the shadow grabbed the exposed blade with an open hand, the shadow’s blood dripped down the blade, as a portal opened. The shadow Link vanished into the portal, the prince in tow.

The hero Link, made for the portal, but it sealed as soon as he arrived. The Master Sword began to emit a dark glow, as the blade, cross-guard and hilt transformed. A voice calling him “Master” came faintly from the sword, explaining it corruption, telling him that there was a 72% chance that he would be able to find the shadow if he drew the Blood Corrupted Sword, but an 89% chance the Sword may cause long-term damage if wielded in this world. Without hesitation Link took the sword, drawing it from its pedestal, and found himself pulled away from his world…back into a changed Dark World than he had left long ago.

So yes, this the Link from my favorite of the Zelda games, A Link to the Past, and instead of the typical green, I went with, let’s call it the Red Mail, from that game. I made a removal hat, purely for the purist aspect (even painting it Purple, though it’s hard to tell in the one picture), but truthfully left it off mostly to allow a better range of motion, and the ability to equip various items onto his back…that and despite the fact that I love the Zelda series…the hat just doesn’t look good in 3-d form…completely impractical as well…like capes…it would just get snagged on everything…

Boots/Gloves: ML Cannonball
Accessories: Various (there are a lot that aren’t seen here…also yes that is a gun, single shot to replace Sling Shot…just because)
