Amber Frost (along with Loken Frost) were the creations of Canadian writer and creator, Michael "Mike" R. McBride. Mike passed away on August 3, 2012. On the A.C.B.A. and YOUTUBE communities, he was known as 9FIRES. He contacted me a few months ago about making his characters that he wrote extensive stories about and had plans one day to see them in comics and eventually other media outlets. He sent me the parts to these figures and I put them together for him and painted them. He had wrote me on August 2 telling me that he had lost his job and didn't know the future for the rest of the figures he wanted and wondered if I could just finish up Amber and send them on to him. I finished up Amber on the 9th contacted him with photos of the set and anxiously awaited his response. I never got one... This is a tragedy that should not have happened. This man was loved and respected dearly by a multitude of people whose lives he touched. I had fixed a blue flame for Amber to represent her magical powers in the palm of her hand and the 9FIRES. I did that without his knowledge and it was for a surprise. He never got to see it here on this earthly plain... God rest your soul, my friend

Various parts that I really don't know what they all were from(street fighter were some)
the braid was from Cammy
I sculpted the chest area and shorts
used craft string for her arm bands
made a custom sheath for her short sword
I think the flame was from a Hellboy Liz figure

He wanted these figures very poseable, so I broke them down and sanded all the joints to prevent paint rub and put a durable paint application on them both
