Here's a really satisfying mashup; a custom DC Universe Classics Kingdom Come Superman, using parts from the DC Direct Kingdom Come Superman figure. It's probably obvious to anyone familiar with both figures that I used the head and cape from the DC Direct figure, but, yes, I also used the chest emblem. That was the most labor involved with making this figure. It took a looong time to dremel away enough plastic so that the emblem would fit nicely onto the DCUC body.

Yeah, that's really going the extra mile to get the scuplted detail of the DC Direct figure's chest symbol. Impressive.

@Strange Planet, the reason I went such a complicated route instead of simply sculpting it on there is because, when I started working on it, I hadn't started using materials like epoxy sculpt yet. I've been using sculpey and pouring resin copies but it really did take me a while to get some aves epoxy sculpt and the like. Now that I've started using stuff like that to sculpt permanently onto figures, I probably wouldn't make the same decision to use the sculpted emblem from the actual figure. Then again, I might, because I like that I moved as much from the DC Direct figure onto the articulataed DCUC body as I could.

This is came out super!!! I'd like to one day make a kingdom come superman but first on my list of super people is a shirtless superboy prime with the "S" burnt into his chest

Would you consider that new DC Universe All Stars Superboy a good base for that, or is he too tall/ugly?
