I'm a big fan of Marvel's cosmic titles and of Firelord in particular so when Vortious' Custom Accessories made a head that looked the part, I had to make him.
He's a Cyclops body, custom head and hot glue for his belt. The flames at his shoulders are the lame effect from MU with the bottoms cut off and glued in place so they don’t impair the shoulder movement.
His staff is brass rod with big hot glue effects painted in orange and yellow acrylics and coated with Tamiya clear red and orange coats.

I've been experimenting with the glue effects and found that if you paint the inside of one silver and clear coat the outer layer, you get a nice glowing look- which is what I did with the Surfer there- he's the version that comes with Galactus and is great by himself but better with light blue florescent eyes.
