Pirates of the Caribbean happened to be airing on TV one day when I was sick recently and I was suddenly inspired to do this Colonial-period maritime rendition of Ghost Rider. I removed the original jacket, shoulder flames and belt, cut and resculpted the boots and did many paint apps of Citadel and DecoArt to achieve a "haunting" sort of effect. Next I chopped some of his head flames and Krazy Glued them to the hat. His hat, coat and cutlass are from a Captain Jack Sparrow figurine and the horse is from LOTR. May decide to apply some glow in the dark paint at some point. The original ROML Dan Ketch GR is pictured to show scale and before/after. Critiques are appreciated and God Bless!
I appreciate the input everyone! I was pretty far along into the job when I searched for some other renditions of a Pirate version and was surprised it didn't turn up much--seemed like such an obvious concept! Now someone has to do a Ninja Ghost Rider
there was an episode of south park guest starring Korn like they were scoobie doo and mystery inc, where south park was being haunted by pirate ghosts and they kept arguing whether they were ghost pirates (ghosts who decided to be pirates) or pirate ghosts (pirates who became ghosts), funny episode.
