I'm not afraid to say I've always been a fan of Sarge in the animated series! He was so over the top. I was stoked about the SDCC 2010 exclusive Sgt. Slaughter figures, but ultimately left a little disappointed that they didn't represent the Sarge from the animated look. I set out to make an updated version with his more heroic proportions. I used a custom cast head, the torso of a GI Joe Retaliation Roadblock, and the legs from a Rise of Cobra Bench Press. His baton and whistle were custom made.
awesome! how can hasbro not know the main market for this stuff is the geek adult collector croud, who love the nostalgia of the cartoon sarge? this is how he should be, perfect!!
