Strictly fo ma ninjas. I’m still planning to make Black Dynamite’s three companions but picked up a Sota Gen for a good price and thought I would get Fiendish Dr. Wu on the shelf – so BD would have a villain to beat up on. The movie and cartoon series establish that BD and Fiendish Dr. Wu have a long-standing rivalry – to the arch degree. The Gen body was perfect and just needed paint. The head came from DC Direct Saint of Killers that needed heavy modification and a repaint.
Saint of Killers, huh? That's inspired. It's amazing that you came up with that. It works great. The mods to that head are all really nice and it's a very strong piece visually when it's all said and done. Bravo!
Hey man, cool that you picked up on all the work that went into that head. I kind of glossed over it in the recipe but I cramped pieces from 3 figures plus some Sculpty into that noggin.
Yes, now Black Dynamite has someone to fight! It's a good thing you used a SOTA base, because you can detach the hand like in the final showdown of the movie with the razor boomerang. "HAHA! I threw that sh*t before I came into the room!"
