As much as I would like to say that this was an easy custom, it was one of the challenging ones I've done so far. I am a fan of articulation and I want my action figures to be highly posable and playable.

To achieve this, I had to take the base figure apart as much as I can. I've added in a neck joint so he can look up and down. More articulation in the wrists so he can do some more poses and also reach for his swords at the back.

Added some web gear from some Joes, and made the sword sheaths. modified gun holster from Bullesye.

A modified Steve Rogers belt with DP's insignia

I did a very light wash on the musculature, a bit of dry brushing.

Paint and seal, and put back the parts together, which was more difficult than taking the figure apart. Paint him a bit and sealed him some more.

Now Wade can kick more ass without the paint rub.

Enjoy and God bless.

By the way, as of now I am IN LOVE withe the MARVEL NOW costume design. Hope you do that one as well. I want to create one for myself but I am not sure which Deadpool figure to use for this: The carded Deadpool form X-Men Origins or the one that came with the huge cannon thing. What would you recommend?

You, my friend are psychic
One is in the works as of right NOW.
Damn! It was supposed to be a surprise.
I am using an MU punisher as the base.

this is great! We need to talk about that sealant since paint rub is one of my greatest concerns with my custom projects.

Hi Liko, just make sure you take figure apart as much as you can and sand/dremel down the moving parts that you think will cause rub. not too much though, as might risk looseing the joint too much.
Paint and then seal with flat clear acrylic spray.
But you also might want to choose a base figure with a suitable base color.

I am glad you liked it. I'm still in the process of experimenting with paint washes and dry brushing. Hopefully I find a style that I am comfortable with, and fast. Cause I want to move into sculpting stuff.
