Stevid Customs put this figure together and asked me to handle the painting chores. He used a DCD Batman head and custom made steel claws from a jeweler friend! He made the mask from hard vinyl and sculpted the details on the costume. The only thing I did when I received it was filled in the peg holes, added some arm hair texture, sanded off the made in China stamp and shored up the ab crunch because it was rubbing the upper abs. Must've been a factory defect. Added some good ol' hillbilly paint apps(Stevid touched up the eyes to make them "not so squinty"). It almost looks too clean to be something I painted but I didn't want to ruin it getting too "artsy" with it, so I kept it simple. It may be a tad big for a comic Wolverine, but honestly, I never did like the fact that Wolverine was so short and called a "runt" by Sabretooth! I like the tall Hugh Jackman type Wolverine anyways. This Wolverine is jacked, so blame that on STEVID! I like it though!! I honestly tried talking him into letting me paint this one in tan and brown or orange and brown color style, but he wouldn't hear of it. I may have to make my own...one of these days! Me and Stevid have a few more team ups coming soon! I did put Stevid's logo on this, look closely and it is incorporated with my logo. Props to LOOSECOLLECTOR for making the recent winner of the MAKE MINE MARVEL contest. This custom was a result of his inspiration
*Special thanks to COSMIC FANTASY CUSTOMS for the photoshop work of adding the logos and graphics. Thanks to Stevid for taking some better photos...hence the update!
Woah! That came out really well bros. Another hit by the Steve-FF combo. Very clean yellow and the skintone is very nice. And I am quite sure that skintone is even better in person. Steve's work on the sculpt deserves a big nod as well.
A team to be reckoned with! Love everything about this figure. Clean sculpt, clean paints. Bravo guys. Now send it to my house. No really, send it now!
Now this is Wolverine! Stocky looking, mean looking and just about everything on this is awesome! Bravo on the paint work my man! He looks absolutely amazing!
epic team up, great result! I hate the yellow comic costume, and I agree with ya on wolvie´s height, but this fig is looking killer...not the usual FF paint apps, but still has the house´s signature..I like it a lot. Kudos to you and stevid!!
