Spyke (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:42806
Name:Spyke
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Shinobitron
Date Added:September 16, 2012
Base Figure:LCBH Dredd, Spyke
Height:6.00 inches
Articulation:28 points
I've had this idea brewing for quite some time, so a few months back I decided to piece together the Lcbh Judge Dredd that I had leftover with my broken Spyke and Miles Mcquaritch arms to get this mashup. A lot of cutting and pasting with a decent amount of filling and dremmeling to get everything flush and smooth for the most part. I know this isn't an exact match to his Evolution counterpart, but I just wanted to tweak his costume a bit. Everything else is fodder parts and what not.

Thanks for looking everyone!

Wow, that's one awesome custom of Spyke. Killer work. I might have to improve on mine now. How did you make those bone implements especially the longer one and the one that snaps on his back?

Thank you!
The long mace like one actually was from a tail from some type of skeleton lion from Bakugan I believe. I gave the thickest end of the tail a ball socket and fit in the spiked piece from some skeleton building kit called Skeleflex.
The piece that's attached to his back is from an old Toybiz Wasp figure from the 90's Spider-Man line with just some minor sculpt and mods.

Thanks guys for checking out my Spike! I know he's not the most popular of X-men but he sure was fun to make, so I appreciate the comments on him. Thanks again!

Dude this is just too freaking sweet! I like how you have put the figure together, but I love the way you've done the bone manipulations, and especially the back with the movable parts! Bloody great!
