From episode 48 of the original Masters of the Universe cartoon called "Return of Evil", I present Aramesh (a.k.a. Aremesh). An electroid (a robot made from pure energy) from Orko's past teleports to Eternia in search of the Dimension Sphere, a mysterious glowing sphere which allows one to teleport to other dimensions. When I watched this episode, I really liked the character design of Aramesh and immediately thought about making a custom of him. But how to make him fit in the MOTUC line without looking too buff or muscular? One day I saw Neca's Robocop and it all came together. ~The cape is a modified MOTUC Chief Carnivus cape. ~The "belt buckle" is a small microchip from an old RAM memory stick. ~Some sculpting and a repaint later and Aremesh was born. Neca's Robocop is full of amazing detail and it was fun to try to bring it all out via paint. I tried to match the mustard-like color of Aramesh from the MOTU episode, but wanted to give him my own twist. I didn't want to give him a shiny/new paint job, but rather a more ancient, worn look. Completed 9/3/2012. Thanks for looking. I hope you all like him. ![]() |
