shes made from a madame hydra figure, with sculpted hair, boot straps, glove straps, arm band and shirt detail. glasses are from a legends blade and extra gun from mystique. then total repaint.
thanks for looking and all comments are greatly appreciated.
You nailed this one! I have to echo the sentiments that this will look sweet next to a beast, and you did a great job with a horrible head, and making it look sweet!
thanks, it took some playing around to get it to work. you should have seen my first pass at it with too dark of a wash and too light of a first layer of drybrush... she looked ghoulish. I warmed up the skin tone and heavied my drybrushing and it brought her back to life.
Love your work, scarecr0w13 This is one beautiful custom, brother! The sculpted ponytail hair really does improve the overall look of the Madame Hydra head!
thanks. I agree, that high angular hair they gave her made the hard angular face even more prominent, taming the hair down and new paints gave her more of a young bridgette neilsen look.I gave her one slightly cocked eyebrow too to give her a lil attitude looking out over those glasses.
I didn't think it was possible to make that head look good. But, you did. Looks great! You need to make a SWORD version of Beast now. You can't have Brand without her "Blueberry Muffin".
Your recent Beast is pretty close to what he wore while working with SWORD. He just didn't have the straps and goggles, and sometimes had yellow/gold shoulder armour things or a lab coat and glasses over it. I never really cared for how Beast's face was drawn more elongated and almost hairy horse like in the series. So, your version already looks better.
Just get a cheap dollhouse muffin for him to hold next to her.
thank you. no, the face is all paint, I think just the more matte effect of flesh tone paint over the shininess of the cast plastic seems to soften the harder edges of that face.
