Now I finished up my Drax I was wondering what I would do with the other Drax figure. Then I picked up U.S.Agent, and as much as I love the sculpt of the Bucky Cap body, but my OCD on scale won out in the end and U.S.Agent needed a bigger body. One problem solved now what to do with Agent's body maybe a future Snake Eyes... LOL
This was a simple recipe: U.S.Agent's head, forearms, hands, belt, and weapons; Drax's main body; and Luke Cage's lower legs and feet. I did have to extend the belt for the larger body, but that was the only modification. After that a full paint job to match his original U.S.Agent body.
Excellent job! And I definitely hear you about your "OCD with scale", doesn't anybody pay attention at Hasbro?! How can Steve Rogers in a skin-tight bodysuit be bigger than Iron Man in full armour?
Thank you very much. Scale is one of the things that can drive me crazy I know exactly what you mean with Hasbro's Iron Man figures they are way to short for someone wearing armor that is why ToyBiz series 8 Modern Armor Iron Man is still my main display Iron Man.
Wow! This really works well. At first I thought he would be huge until I looked at the comparison pics. But he's just right. I gotta pick up an extra when I get one.
Thank you very much. At first I didn't know how well he would end up. Would his head look to small, his arms to short, or legs to long, but he ended up matching up with Steve and Bucky really well. Now John can look Steve eye to eye
Yeah I have issues with scale too. I try to keep it right with my customs. Preferring to go by handbook stats instead of the way an artist might exaggerate a character.
