A custom from many years ago, Dark Aegis was to be released in the fifth wave of the Animated Iron Man Marvel Action Hour toyline. The wave got cancelled and Dark Aegis was never seen from again. That is until he was retooled and released as Heavy Metal Beast from the Mutant Armor Line.
