I have Decided to make my own War Within Grimlock. The base figure of Hulk was too bulky at top and too small around the legs so I decided to give it Animated Leader Megatron Legs. It improved proportions and added some height. I also added two extra guns on shoulders. They are mounted on magnets and can be detached so that Grimm may hold them. I also resculpted head and added one huge sword. Later the whole figure was repainted and washed. The tank mode is not very accurate but it has openable cabins that actually have little seats inside:). Please feel free to comment:)
Thank You all for Your comments I believe making Grimlock with accurate vehicle mode would demand building the whole thing from scratch. You can always have a look at Titanium version and try to use some of its ideas.
Thanks for all the comments blaynescott - I have written all the details in the description. I've been looking for the right legs for some time, because stock ones are really poor. I have decided to use legs of leader class Animated Megatron. They will fit almost perfectly. I also used the knee joint. You just have to switch all the bottom part of the leg. A few minor modifications and everything will fit perfectly If You have some more questions feel free to ask. P.S. Downscaled MP Grimlock head Would be great. I didn't have one so I resculpted Hulk - after all war within had a little bit different head... I would love to see your Grim when it's ready
Neat. Where did the legs come from? Are they 100% styrene work, or appropriated from another similarly-scaled TF?
