General Obi Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars Clone Wars Animated Series in a 6 inch 1:12th Scale.
Took a Kenobi statue and cut every limb. Then hollowed out every part of it with a dremel. A nightmare to do accurately without damaging the exterior requiring a lot of precision. Dremeled each part so that every joint I attached would be able to move and pivot within it. Used a marvel legends figure to create all of the joints. The result is what once was a static statue that could not move at all and only held one position now has more than 36 points of articulation. The boot gauntlets pivot around the calve area. The knees are both double jointed, the thighs swivel, the hip moves in every direction, the waist swivels, the belly can go up and down, the wrists pivot, the elbows are double jointed, the shoulders are ball jointed and move in every direction, and the head pivots.

I love the cartoon series and just had to have a General Kenobi in my collection in a 6 inch Scale.

Incredible! This is what I wish Star Wars toys were like. I'm absolutely gobsmacked at the work you put into this custom. I think this would have easily won the articulation contest hands down.

Thanks SansPedes. You and me both. I wish they would make a 6 inch line with Neca detail and Marvel Legends Articulation.

Thanks. It really is stressful to work on it as I didn't want to make any mistakes. I did a lot of planning before I started.

Wow, taking a statue and giving it that much articulation is really impressive. Nicely done!

Thanks Rabid_Ewok. Obi-Wan is the man so I like having different versions of him in this scale.

That's amazing work, just taking it all apart like that and engineering a fully poseable figure from a static statue!
