I had this guy on the shelf for a few months. I used a Planet Hulk base and replaced the abdomen with that of an Avengers Movie Hulk to add height to the fig. I used a Red Hulk baf head and I finished off with the paint job.
Yeah just a little mod to make the top torso close over the peg of the abdomen. The body wasn't closed completly to reduce paint rub from the articulation. I filled in the small gaps with sculpy.
I think this was a neat idea, and the execution is really nice, but it looks off to me. From his hips to the ground is less distance than from his hips to the top of his head, when usually it should be about 25%-33% more.
Again, I think you did a good job putting it together, and the paint looks great, but his torso just seems too long.
Yeah I know that the legs are shorter and the proportions of the figure are a bit off compared to the body. I could have put f/o hulks legs but its the stalkyness look I wanted to portray in this custom. That abdomen and the legs allow me to put Rulk in awesome fighting poses and is more poseable than any Hulk toybiz or hasbro has made and its the same recipe I used on my custom Venom. Thanx for your input and I respect your constructive criticism as your a customizer as myself and understand the process.
