The 1999 Jason Goes to Hell figure from McFarlane reminded me more of the Jason Takes Manhattan look so I re-sculpted the head (and also a new hockey mask) to look more movie-accurate and painted his skin grey and his clothes black. I repainted the original mask to look like the melted mask from the end of the film. Finished him up with a few coats of gloss sealer to give him the wet look he has in the film and voila!

Can you reveal your method? I am interested in what color of blue you used and how you got that "wet" look? I have a great head and mask that I've tooled, and I have a McFarlane body but I am not sure of the color nor that effect. Thanks. By the way, yours looks phenomenal!

good work! even though part 8 isn't my favorite, I think that the best looking Jason is that one, I loved the fact that he always looks wet in the movie and you achieved that in your custom too

good job man!I have a mcfarlane jason too and I always thought it needed a lot of improvement.the stock unmasked face to me looks a lot like the toxic avenger and nothing like jason.as a fan of the movies,and mcfarlane figures I felt like they dropped the ball with that figure.I would love to see a mcfarlane style jason part 7.hint hint.looks great can't wait to see the next one.

Wow man, you're right. I never realized how much McFarlane's Part 9 Jason actually looks like Manhattan Jason. Except the head, which looks like neither IMO. Extremely nice job on this Jason, sir. Can't wait to see his unmasked head!
