The Glactic Marines show up for the first time in Metroid Prime 2 Echos and I loved the design of the characters. They have a very similar design to Samus with a large glass faceplate and gun arm however they lacked the morph ball and upgrade tech. Most of the Marines get wiped out however in Echos due to plague of Ing infested bugs that kill the entire landing party so we don't get to see them in much action. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has you interacting with them however and they also act as support in some of the games various planets.
I got this figure when I was looking for the gun arm for Samus. He was a bonus until I realized what he looked like. The face section of this figure is a new sculpt and he was given the black then dry brushed silver treatment . I used 2 shades of silver for various parts and very minute gold for his paint scheme. The face plate was painted with a blend of Reaper Sky Blue and Folk Arts metallic blue. I then applied a very thin coat of watered down mettalic blue to give it the proper shimmer effect.
You pay for the points, not sure what games they have now cause it was awile ago I played my Wii.. Sorry nintendo, but still no good online channels makes me mad. (Who cares about the weather? We want demos and trailers!)
so does that mean you have to pay money for the points or can you gain the points by playing games? And do they have Goldeneye Shadow of The empire, Res evil 2 and the Rogue Squadron games? ~_@ Dedi
Well, you can't "use" N64 games on the Wii. You can however, download the N64 games that they make available on the Wii Shop Channel for 1000 Wii points(10 USD).
Totally agree I loved the power outout for its size I have SW Rebelstrike, SW Rogue leader, Eternal Darkness, MGS Twin snakes, Spiderman 2 and all the Res games for my cube pity they couldnt have ported the best version of res 2 - the n64 one Is it true you can use N64 games on the Wii? Iwant to play Golden eye again ~_@ Dedi
Yeah, Nintendo always had a problem with being pegged as making the "kiddie game systems" ever since the N64 (which honestly did have a lot of kids' games).
That's sad, Gamecube had the best graphics of that generation of systems, and had what is one of the best games of all time, Resident Evil 4(PS2 had it as well, but GC graphics were better). The reason why people shyed away from the Gamecube is because they probably thought it had too many "kiddy" games, when it did have a lot of good games, like Metroid Prime, and Wind Waker, although everyone didn't like it for being cel-shaded, despite the fact that it was a great game. Speaking of which, I have Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, and Metroid Prime: Hunters, and haven't beaten any of them yet, I need to get on that.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
And do they have Goldeneye Shadow of The empire, Res evil 2 and the Rogue Squadron games?
