Dremel out a small area in the win, and a small area in the back of your custom (making sure to avoid where the shoulder joints are housed, or anything else vital). Locate another figure with decent ball joints (elbows, and knees usually), and splice those in using Superglue. It helps if the figure is already disassembled, so you can control of where/how the extra limb (in this case, a wing) is going.

Can you tell me how you did the wings? Attaching pieces that weren't meant to attach is hard for me. And numerous people have suggested I put wings on a few of my Lantern customs.

For this custom I just lined the edge of the wing with Loctite Super Glue then put a thin line of sculpey and then a thin line of Loctite on that and held in place for 20 seconds against the back.
