I saw this done a couple of times last week, and decided to try it myself. Its the new Marvel Legends FF series Doom with a black base and drybrushed to give the weathered and metallic look to the armor sorely missing from the stock version. All that dingy flat gray is gone gone gone. Unlike some of the others I've seen, I decided to leave his tunic and cape alone. I like the darker more muted colors there.
Yea, I can't wait to find some of these Anywho, the simple repaint of the armor looks like it's definitely all this guy needs. The full repaints are great, but the metalics are what it absolutely needs.
Yeah, I argee with you. the design for the figure looks good in pictures anyway since I've yet to see one in the flesh. So fare though the repaints ppl have done look awesome.
Dr. Doom looks really good! With just a little bit of touching up and tweaking, the Hasbro Fantastic Four line is not so bad after all, I have yet to find a Dr. Doom yet though...
