When one single white lantern ring was travelling through time and space seeking his next owner, it accidentaly invaded the galaxy of Cryptum, after being violently pushed by the trail of a gigantic comet. The ring crashed against a small mass of very condensed energy and created a immense cosmic explosion (like a microscopic big bang). The ring was made in a million little pieces...
From this big explosion Quasar and Nebula were born. They are like twins and the only members of White Lantern Corps who don't use any ring. Those pieces of the white lantern ring are spread throughout their bodies, which are made of pure energy.
They share many powers and skills, like transforming their shapes into anything they want, fly at the speed of light and huge strenght. But Nebula uses her lasso to capture the enemies and drain all their abilities, increasing hers. Quasar, like a big black hole, can suck all the vital energy of the opponent, adding powers to his own. He uses two big swords to fight evil.
Like white is the junction of all light colors, against the Black Lantern members, they can input some light inside the black ring, recovering their old essences...
