I've been wanting to make a battle damaged Ultron ever since I got the Marvel Select Hawkeye, but couldn't find a base I liked until I saw Shinobitron's Ultron and thought DC Direct Cyborg would work. I popped off the gun arm and replaced it with the lower portion of the damaged arm from the Hawkeye base, I also removed the head and replaced that with the head from the hawkeye base, with a ton of dremelling to get it to fit and retain articulation. I them went to town dremelling the damage onto the right shoulder aread, and used Tamiya Putty to give it a melted appearance and fill in some gaps. I added the chest piece from a Spiral Zone figurefor the left breastplate, and then painted.
I find myself entranced by this beautiful custom's molten metal paint apps. Seeing this masterpiece in person is a wonderful treat, Xysma. The yellows, oranges and reds really "glow". The paint job is beautiful. The battle damage is perfectly crafted on this Ultron. Easily one of my top favorite Xysma-created works-of-art! Thanks, brother!
Sobresaliente. Increible efecto de luminosidad en las zonas calientes, Has dado los colores y tonos exactos al metal fundido. Enhorabuena. Outstanding. Incredible brightness effect of hot spots, have given the exact colors and tones the molten metal. Congrats.
