I made this one awhile back when I was reading Wolverine. I thought it was funny how he always thought/talked about not popping his claws so I made him without claws ( of course he always popped them anyway). Sculpted gloves, boot tops, and patch and painted. I was trying something new using a stipple brush for the hair, not sure if I like it or not, but it's ok I reckon.
He looks tough and gritty, X. The paints are nice and smooth. The hair effect looks good. I mean, just look a him! One look at this hairiness and our testosterone levels instantly spike! . I mean that in a good way, brotha. I think you achieved the effect perfectly. Never heard of Patch. Is he an alter-ego of Wolvie?
Love this one! I think it's right on the money! Patch was Wolvy's alter-ego when he first started his solo comic and his adventures in Madripoor and fighting Silver Samurai and Sabretooth and all kinds of stuff...
Thanks Necro! And thanks for the input on the hair, that stipple brush is a little tricky to use, and I certainly haven't mastered it, but I think it will be a good tool to add to my arsenal.
