Here's a custom that I made for one of our coolest Realmers, good Ole Jade Jaw!
Back in July of last year, he posted an awesome Green Lantern custom of Teal'c from Stargate. I instantly loved it and thought it was brilliantly executed. Well, this cool cat straight up offered me this masterpiece, unselfishly. He's also hooked me up with figure stands and a Space Ghost figure. I am grateful for what he's done and I've really been wanting to create a custom for him.

I love Alex Ross' art and I definitely wanted to create a Leader using the Alex Ross Sinestro figure, which I felt would translate well into the Leader. Ole Jade Jaw is a big fan of all things Hulk, but already has the 'bulging brain' version of the Leader. So, I decided to go for a more traditional look for this rendition of the Leader. I looked at several reference artworks of the Leader in his orange suit and took bits and pieces from some of them to create this custom.

Head - I sculpted almost an inch of additional head on top of the Sinestro head. I also exacto-knifed the pointy tips of Sinestro's ears off and added a small dab of Aves Apoxie to round them out.
Body - In an attempt to bring this Leader down to a Marvel Legends scale, I cut away about an inch from his midsection, removing that white ruffle belt that Sinestro wears. I sculpted Leader's belt over the sliced area. I also filled in thin, diagonal grooves that ran in front and back of his torso with Apoxie. Used earphone cables to outline the belt and the black lines on his torso. The yellow shoulder pads come from an ammo belt with the bullet tips sliced off.

Ole Jade Jaw, I sincerely hope you like my take on the Leader. I'll be sending him to ya real soon. Thanks again for being such an awesome Realmer, brother.
