One of the mutants I have been wanting to do for a long time is Cannonball. He can easily be removed from his base (it's hollow) so he can be posed in all sorts of "Blast Off" stances. Thanks for checking him out!

The figure is great, but what really blows me away(pun intended) is the base!!! How did you make that??? It looks really crystal clear and shiny, not like how hot glue looks when I use it(with that kind of foggy look)

Its hot glue sculpted over a clear styrene sheet made in the shape of a cone. You start sculpting with the gun, then once its dry, you paint it with gungze sangyo clear yellow. It gives it that clear effect. then a quick drybrush with smokey white on bottom and top.
