Apparently,I start one project and get a bug to start another,and the next thing you know,I'm creating a completely different custom than I started out on!Sudden Jedi kick took over while working on a Thor Movie Concept Executioner figure.This is a Sakiyan Jedi Knight named Natsirt Sal,the only Sakiyan to ever be a Jedi due to the species producing few Force sensitives.He was well known for his battle prowess,yet his exceedingly terrible temper kept him from becoming a Jedi Master.He was feared among the criminal element on the outer rim,and many criminals would turn themselves in to avoid confrontation with Natsirt Sal,because to confront him was to meet certain death.Sal believed in swift and firm justice and doled it out unflinchingly.Sal was also the Jedi responsible for the death of Cal Mot,the son of Analese Mot,the minor crime boss who would later be known as Mother.Sal was killed when Order 66 was given and his decapitated head was paraded through the streets of the capitol city on Saki in the hopes of intimidating the species into bowing down to the new Galactic Empire,a tactic which backfired explosively.
I've learned that customizing is full of "happy accidents" and sometimes it's best to follow your instincts and see where they lead you!Most,if not all,of my customs evolve as I'm creating them,and often have differences from the source material,so my work reflects my interpretation of the characters.So,please remember,the figure may not look 100% like the comic or movie version,but I always do my best to capture the essence of the character.
Quite often I see other customizers figures and I'm in awe of their work and have to make one of my own!In those cases,I hope the original customizer realizes that imitation is the ultimate form of flattery,and I really am paying them a very sincere compliment.In cases where I know who the original customizer is,I will always give credit where it is due.
