Here we have Custom BOOGA! Tank Girl's Loving Mutant kangaroo boyfriend. Another older custom, but I have a soft spot for this fella on account of we have the same Ramones Tee-Shirt. He was made using a Devilman base figure. His suspenders were from a chubby Joker clown-Thug that I think was from the Arkham Asylum toy line. The Jacket was made from a fodder professor X Suit Jacket. Sculpted his mohawk, fringe on the jacket was cut pieces from the same jacket. Sculpted his Ramones Tee-Shirt and really wanted it to look real and grungy and dirty. Gave him a Punk-Rock paint job on the pants and painted him up with Citadel paints. Sealed him with matte sealer and pierced his ear and gave him real metal earrings, though they are glued in for stability. Sculpted the shades and I think that's about it! This was my 1st figure using apoxy sculpt so all of the sculpting is with apoxy.
Thanks very much, Dr.Chops! I LOVE Tank-Girl & Booga and think they're both such endlessly interesting looking characters. Making them look good as they should is always a labor of Love for me.
Oh my gosh, you just drew my attention to the fact that there's a newer Custom Booga I did from "Tank-Girl: Skidmarks" that doesn't appear to be posted here, I'll have to do that!
Thanks so much, Gonza!!! He's not the most well known character. Most people know him from seeing him next to Tank-Girl, but he always looks pretty cool! He, like Tank, almost always has a different outfit on and doesn't really have a signiture look, so juust took a few bits from here n there n mashed up the looks, with my own spin on it. Glad you like him!!! He said to say, "Sup!"
