Thanx guys, I was going to give up half way through but I soldiered on an ended up quite happy with him
And Deadpool, I've had this guy for quite some time now. Looking at the back of his leg the copyright says 2001 which does feel like the time when I got it so I'm not sure how many are left out there.
What I can tell you is that it was from the Resident Evil 2 line of figures and came with some guns
(12-Gauge Shotgun, VP70, VP70 Holster/Stock, MAC 10, Combat Knife) and a base with the RE logo on it.
There was also a variant of him with bandages on his chest like he has later on in the game.

Though I always saw Leon more as the single pistol type in a movie. Mind you, that pistol would be a .50 cal IMI Desert eagle.
