Thank you so much! You have been insanely helpful, I have been trying to ask people on forums for custom made toys but no one seems to like to answer beginners like me. Last question (this week ) do you use testors paint? If not which paint do you use because your colors are amazing! And do you put anything on the MB before or after painting?

I use acrylic paints, not testors. That way if you need to mix a color you can. I use reaper paints, but any can be ok if its good quality. I always base coat a figure first. On this figure it was red, that saved painting later on. Lots of figures are base coated black or beige if it has a lot of skin showing.

After its all done, I have a matte finish and a gloss finish. The matte finish give a more realistic 'worn' look but doesn't seem to protect quite as well. The gloss give a 'factory' finish and prevents chipping.

And the wings just came like that, I mean with the back peg which fit right into a MB? Or did you have to sculpt?

no the peg is from a weapon pack, cut and glued. I use milliput for sculpting

What do you use for sculpting? A 2 part epoxy? If so which one?

Hello I have just joined the custom mega bloks world. I have bought numerous halo and marvel mega bloks and will begin to swap them and paint them to create cool figures. I would really like to know where you got those wings from?
