Heather Douglas was a young girl taken to Titan, one of Saturn's moons. There she was raised by monks to unlock the powers of her body and mind. She later became a member of the Avengers, the Defenders, and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Here's Moondragon in her classic costume. The base is Elektra. The head and lower arms are from Viper, hands are Marvel Girl's. The lower legs are from Emma Frost, and the cape is from Black Panther. The earrings are craft store beads, painted to approximate a half-moon (that was the intention, anyway). The biggest pain in making this figure was paint smudge. No amount of sealant can keep the cape paint from rubbing off onto the flesh paint!
