Sammy here is my first attempt ever at customizing. I probably made this a little under 2 or so years ago. When I got the figure I HATED the paintjob so I went on down to my local hobby shop and got some paint and apoxie sculpt. I went with the Gravity Suit honestly because I loved the purple that I used on her and I found the regular Varia suit kind of blah. I also went with more of the Prime 2 visor look and extended out the hand cannon. I found her shoulders a little bit too restrictive so I dermeled them out and replaced them with some foam weather stripping. I also drilled some holes in her thrusters to acomidate the flame burst effects because I thought that it made her look more like she was space jumping! Some time later I decided I also hated the unmasked head that came with it as I thought it looked too out of proportion, so I got one of the DC Direct evil Supergirl figures, repainted the eyes and sculpted a little collar for her. The paint is still a little rough on her, but I want to keep it that way to gage my progress as a customizer. So like I said, this is my first custom ever (I don't really submit them chronologically)and I love it good despite all of its inperfections.
