Base Figure:Marvel Select Green Hulk
Height:9.00 inches

I have been looking for a regular Bane action figure for a long time, but I could not get him for under $200 on ebay so I threw my hands up and made my own. I saw a couple of people have used the same base figure and it was your Bane's that encouraged me it was possible to do this (thank you).

I started with a MS Green Hulk, sanded the entire body, removed the ripped cloths, apoxy sculpted the mask, drilled holes in the shoulders added metal thingies, apoxy sculpted around those added red paint to look like irritated skin, painted the body and pants with enamal at first (ooops rookie mistake) then acrylics. Apoxy Sculpted the gauntlets, anklets, spine, belt and straps, lastly flat black washed the figure.I then stopped because I am trying to figure out how to make the backpack. At this point it is complete, I will update later when I have finished it completely. It will probably be a while until then, but I wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks all for the comments. He is not done yet, but I am at a stopping point since I won't have time to work on him for a while. I still need to attach the backpack, titan hoses, paint the belt, anklets and back of his head (flesh color)and veins green. I look forward to finishing it in the future, but wanted to see what others thought would make this better.

Hi there. First off, really great work so far. I totally understand the problem
you mentioned. I actually had an originally released Arkham Bane but I was not
satisfied due to his stupid "I'm on the toilet" pose and his lack of articulation.
Using an MS Hulk was a great idea as it makes Bane huge (as in-game).
I guess for his backpack, other Realmers will come up with much better ideas.
Anyways, here is one from me: In case it is cheaply to get, the base the 6" Red Skull
movie figure comes with consists of two parts. The "generator" part might work quite well.
Again, fantastic work. Keep it up

Thanks for the advice. I might go that route (the generator for backpack).
