My buddy I'm doing all the Flash figures for sent me a message wanting me to make this figure the same day DA MAN posted his, great minds and all... Anyway, modded head and left arm, sculpted over feet, painted a coat of superglue over the mushy arms, then primed it, painted it yellow, dry brush orange, then dry brushed black.
very nice and very cool, I have had one of these for awhile and didn't think of doing this....now I wanna try LOL so you just paint/apply super glue over the rubbery arms? wow, you need to do a tutorial on this.....or is there one?
No tutorial, in fact it may not even be necessary, but some of the paint rubbed off pretty easily on the test patch I did, so I gave it a try. Not much to it, just get a bottle of super glue that comes with the brush applicator and apply it like you would paint. I like the Krazy glue that is purple and turns clear when it dries. When you're done, make sure you let it sit overnight to dry completely or you'll mess up your brush. Like I said though, you put enough coats of paint on there and the superglue may not even be needed, I left a spot free of glue just to see and it seems fine. I put several coats on though, two coats of a grey base, then a couple coats of orange, then drybrush yellow, then a couple of rounds with a black drybrush.
This one is all you brother, my buddy apparently saw yours and had already bought Clayface from me, but I still had him here at the house, so he sent me a picture of what I now realize is actually your figure and said, "I want one of these!"
