This week I went for a smaller project (unlike last week’s Doomsday!) So it was the turn of the king of the seas: Aquaman in Jlu style.

I aimed for a realistic look on his hair adding depth and multiple highlights to the sculpt. The base figure was made of an Amazo head cast, Major force base body with Aquaman legs. His left hook was created out of a combination of Styrene and apoxie carefully laid out on each side to reinforce the Styrene (see a ton of pics in the video) This time, the figure was completely disassembled to better work on the paint and tooling. (it’s much easier this way!) The head gives the impression of movement however it’s firmly attached to the body (the hair sculpt prevented it) All in all, it was a great project to work on....Namor is sorry now!
