I've wanted to do an improved take on Shadowhawk for quite some time, as every one of his last three retail figures never quite worked for me. Like a few other customizers here, I used a 10th anniversary McFarlane Toys SH figure for the wonderfully sculpted head, gauntlet/fists, should armor, and belt. For the body, I used a Wal-Mart exclusive Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, which met both my criteria as a base for Shadowhawk. The figure had to be in all black (no joint rub, I wanted the figure to be as poseable as possible), and the figure need to be muscular, but not really bulky, as SH is an agile-gymnast type. This was a fun project to do, as I love the classic Image Comics stuff.
Very nice. I'm surprised I don't see more people using the 10 Anniversary ShadowHawk parts to make an articulated version. Yours is real nice. It's a cool design and it makes for one cool toy.

Nice work.
