Custom #:49381
Name:Popeye the Sailor Man (Real Life)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Original
Creator:Leo Customs
Date Added:May 1, 2013
Base Figure:See recipe
Height:6.00 inches

Resculpt parts of the face (chin and nose), forearms, neck and shirt buttons and seam of the legs with epoxy.
The cap is of Major Maxim (McFarlane Danger Girl), slightly modified, and the spinach I made using a can of Polly also modified appropriately.
The pipe was sculpted with epoxy and the tip has a piece of pin that fits in a small hole in the mouth of the figure.

Okay you beat me to it. That last Barbarian Hulk from Marvel Select made me think Bluto, so I was cobbling together a Popeye misself, but damn if this one isn't real purdy. I think its even more flattering that what I had planned. Love the muted colors and the sculpt work is smooth and stylistic. Dig the boots too! I'm happy just to see this character acknowledged.
You DEFINITELY havta do a Bluto now!

Nice job man!
