I've been working on this one off and on for a while now. He is essentially made from an LCBH wraarrl, a hydro shrunk Batman head, some parts from a DCD Batman Inc, and a lot of sculpting.
Excellent work!! Huge Burton Batman fan. Which Batman movie version is this? I noticed the symbol is the one from Batman Returns, but abs are almost accurate to the first movie. Anyway, great sculpting. Wish movie master figs were out during Burton's films.
Thanks! He's based on the 1st Burton Batman. The symbol is from a DCD Batman Inc. Batman. It was the closest thing I could find. I attempted to sculpt the symbol, but I couldn't get it to a point where I was satisfied. It blows my mind that we haven't seen this Batman in movie masters.
Hydroshrinking is when you make a cast of a larger piece and use these chemicals called hydroshrink to essentially make the cast part smaller. I have never done it myself (though I think I am going to try it out soon) I know a couple of people who have done it before. Iron-cow did a whole article on the process, you can check it out on his website.
You need to post up more pics here on the realm like you did on the auction site. This is very good work, hydro-shrinking is a process that terrifies me and I think you've done a brilliant job here.
