The lack of an accurate Neo Classic Iron Man made me customize my first figure, it was I think the 4 or 5 inch versions of Iron Man that I started way back then. However I used the tamiya enamel which led to disaster. When the first Marvel Legends came out I had high hopes for this figure but Toy Biz came out with nothing. Then the new ML series had my hopes up, but then again I was disappointed on how puny the neo classic figure came out. Time to do it by myself and we have now the Neo Classic at near 7 inches.I sculpted the armor, I lengthened the legs, placed shoulder pads without taking out the articulation with apoxie sculpt and a pin. I not as pleased with how I painted this one, since the clear lacquer TS was not as clear as the acrylic one. I tried to airbrush the Burnished Gold of Citadel and it just clogged my airbrush, ended up hand painting it. Maybe clear yellow and clear orange may give the gold I am looking for. Maybe, I'll just do another one some time later.
