Pretty much a repaint really with a tiny bit of sculpt, this was the Daredevil I've been wanting for ages. The motivating factor was the costume; I've always loved the red leather look and wanted to have a go at re-creating that shiny material effect that had a lot of colour depth. Hope it comes across ok.
I'm also going through an unmasked phase at the moment making alternate heads for a variety of figures and, as I had the Face-Off Daredevil (awful body sculpt!), I took the unmasked head and mask and altered them to fit the Nemesis body. The mask required some cutting and sculpt as it was too big for the Nemesis body but a bit of paint, a new leg pouch, new nunchucks with a chain link and a bit of gloss later, I got the figure I was looking for.

That looks great. And using the head from the Spidey Classics 2 DD, which has a lot of personality, and is still kinda small, helps that figure a lot, because its original head is way too small and the new one helps the proportions a lot. Nice.
Cheers pal. Yeah, I think the Classics head just about gets away with it. Its still a tiny bit small for my liking but I can live with it! Its definitely better than the one the Nemesis body cam with; he was like that character at the end of beetlejuice!
Hi mate, thanks. Initially very lightly sanded and then a basecoat of Citadel paints white and then dark red. Heavily washed with black and then dry bushed with the original red and two further lighter shades of red. Finished off with Citadels 'Ardcoat' gloss. Cheers!
Haha thanks but don't wait, get it on here! There's loads of daredevils on FR and plenty tons better & more original than mine :0D. Looking forward to seeing it!
