Thanks for the nice words on my previous figure. He is my second completed custom (and the only other finished one I have right now). Marvel's 3.75" line lacks a full-size Ant-Man, and despite one being teased in the past, it has not yet materialized. I made this Hank Pym Ant-Man using a Scarlet Spider base - it is a smaller buck which says "scientist" to me and is already red, so I didn't have to paint it! I did paint the blue gloves and boots and all the black. The head is a Dollar General exclusive Duke (with the hair painted a bit more blonde). The gas canisters are two Black Widow wrist ampules and more sculpting. The helmet, of course, was the challenge. These is a base G.I. Joe helmet under there - a helmet that came with a modern GI Joe Flash (I think) - it is red and looks like an old-style leather football helmet. It was thin and tight-fitting. I completely sculpted over it and glued a bent GI Joe ski pole as the microphone boom, and sculpted over it and sculpted the microphone. The antennae are straight pins with large heads, dipped in thick paint to make them a little thicker. As you can see in the pictures, the helmet is removable.
